Resolution
Whereas,
Article 1.10 of the Declaration of Covenants states that the Board of Directors
may from time to time make, change and or rescind specific rules and
regulations for the orderly administration of the Covenants.
Whereas, The
King’s Country Board of Directors recognizes that the safety of our Property
Owners, their families, their guests and their pets is paramount.
Therefore, Let it be resolved that the King’s Country Board of Directors has become
aware of the need to control dangerous and or vicious dogs or other dangerous
or vicious animals in the community.
Be it further resolved that no dog or other animal may be kept that poses,
threatens to pose, or in the reasonable judgment of The Board of Directors may
pose or create any unreasonable harm to the community. The Board of Directors
may impose fines against the property owner responsible and/or ban the dog or
other animal that poses, threatens to pose or may pose such unreasonable risk
to the community.
A dangerous or vicious dog or
animal is defined as any of the following:
Any dog or animal that when unprovoked bites or attacks a person or
domestic animal.
Any dog or other animal
that in a vicious or terrorizing manner approaches any person or domestic
animal in an apparent attitude of attack.
Any dog or animal with a
known propensity, tendency or disposition to attack unprovoked.
Any dog or animal that is
found to have been trained to engage in exhibitions of fighting.
Agreed to by unanimous vote
of the King’s Country Board of Directors at the September 2009 Monthly Board
Meeting and recorded in the Minutes thereof.
