King’s Country Property Owners Association

Resolution

Whereas, Article 1.10 of the Declaration of Covenants states that the Board of Directors may from time to time make, change and or rescind specific rules and regulations for the orderly administration of the Covenants.

Whereas, The King’s Country Board of Directors recognizes that the safety of our Property Owners, their families, their guests and their pets is paramount.

Therefore, Let it be resolved that the King’s Country Board of Directors has become aware of the need to control dangerous and or vicious dogs or other dangerous or vicious animals in the community.

Be it further resolved that no dog or other animal may be kept that poses, threatens to pose, or in the reasonable judgment of The Board of Directors may pose or create any unreasonable harm to the community. The Board of Directors may impose fines against the property owner responsible and/or ban the dog or other animal that poses, threatens to pose or may pose such unreasonable risk to the community.

A dangerous or vicious dog or animal is defined as any of the following:

Any dog or animal that when unprovoked bites or attacks a person or domestic animal.

Any dog or other animal that in a vicious or terrorizing manner approaches any person or domestic animal in an apparent attitude of attack.

Any dog or animal with a known propensity, tendency or disposition to attack unprovoked.

Any dog or animal that is found to have been trained to engage in exhibitions of fighting.

Agreed to by unanimous vote of the King’s Country Board of Directors at the September 2009 Monthly Board Meeting and recorded in the Minutes thereof.
