Text Box: This was a HUGE yard sale for King’s Country. We had more items than we have ever had before! As usual, none of this could have happened without our wonderful volunteers. So many things that happen in our community are done by these great volunteers. Head “Honcho” Harry Earl and crew worked their hearts out to make sure King’s Country collects monies to improve our community.
Text Box: After all expenses and paying for 4 storage garages, they cleared $5600! Some of that money has been spent on a new couch for the Clubhouse. With all the beautiful furniture donated, we have redecorated our clubhouse. It is a showplace! We are now looking for “someones” to volunteer to run next year’s yard sale. This is a wonderful opportunity for volunteers to keep our King’s Country beautiful!

Text Box: Text Box: WHEN IS A ROAD NOT A ROAD……...
We have worked very hard to make the front entrance look very inviting—new sprinkler system, plants and beautiful grass. BUT if you look now, you will see that we have a pathway across the front grass. Golf carts, four wheelers, etc. going back and forth to Vinyard’s have made a path through the grass and we are getting back down to dirt. May we suggest that to save our grass AND our sprinkler system that individuals park by the gate house and walk across to make their purchases. TexDot has placed metal barriers between King’s Country and Vinyards that have been repeatedly knocked down. Those posts are there for a reason. Please think about this when you are needing something.

DO YOU LOVE TO PULL WEEDS?

Boy do we have a place for you!  We need your help.  The maintenance crew is running so far behind because of the rains that we cannot keep up with the weeds at the gate house and the front of our Clubhouse.  They seem to be spending all their time unplugging culverts.  If you have some time, we would love to offer a place where you can pull weeds to your hearts content—pick your place!  We will clean them up.  Vince and Suzanne Smith have helped as well as Harry Earl and his grand daughter Deborah.  So, pitch in and pull a weed!
